I have just discovered that brilliant new resources are being made available by the Church of Tim Keller (Redeemer church) with 150 free sermons and lectures available now. I will add this web page to my blog roll and for now just follow the link and make good use of great resources. Dr Keller is wonderful Christian, eloquent in his exposition and thought provoking when needed, it is hard to find anyone who can truly say they did not enjoy listening to his style. Even if you find minor theological disagreements, they are always on very minor issues, this may be on the style of worship or how we should evangelise but his message is solid and his arguments are strong. Please let the others know, thanks for your help in spreading the good news.

The simple fact that this is called the “church of Tim Keller”, means he is not following the truth of God, and God’s wisdom has not reached his soul yet, even if the message sounds sweet, and style has nothing to do with feeding off the Holy Spirit.
I don’t get the theological reeasoning behind your support. Thinking that any criticism that is too small to investigate, and is to be ignored, means that you seek only to receive those that please you.
God receives all humans!
God asked that all places where those meet in prayer, are to be called “houses of prayer”. The only Church that God will ever recongize, is the Church of Christ, followers of Christ!
Glorify God , and God alone! Not yourselves! Christ said this.

Church is not called “Church of Tim Keller” this is only how I described it for others as he is very well known pastor. You are using literalist interpretation here the name of the church is “redeemer” as in Jesus is our redeemer. So please I have to say I am saddened that someone who loves Christ would come to such judgement without first asking.

Not sure what your theology is but you will not find two people that completely agree on everything otherwise I would say you have been either enlightened by the Holy Spirit completely and someone else had same experience or in my experience I would say where two people agree; usually one influences the other, and has very little to do with the revelation from the Bible. I happen not to hold on to predestination and I also don’t think we should be modernising our services in order to attract people.
These are some of the minor things that I will not agree with Dr Keller but these are nothing compared to prosperity Gospel, or Emergent Church or Liberal Theology which is present in many churches. This is a great man of God who believes in Gods word and power of his Holy Spirit to makes necessary changes in us to bring us to God the father.
[“God receives all humans! God asked that all places where those meet in prayer, are to be called “houses of prayer”. The only Church that God will ever recongize, is the Church of Christ, followers of Christ!”]
If you are advocating universalism (That all will be saved) then you and I will disagree here theologically speaking. I don’t believe that God will force people into heaven, as if this was the case he would turn it into hell. God is far too loving and kind to do such thing.
Secondly I would argue as it was suggested during the early reformation that only God knows who his children are this is called the invisible church as you will recall that weed will grow together with the good seed and will be separated in the end.
[“Glorify God , and God alone! Not yourselves! Christ said this.”]
Note that I do not wish still Gods glory; you should note that I have refused to even give my name on this blog precisely because I want to give God the glory.
And secondly Dr Keller is one of the kindest people I know you can gather that just from listening him speak. His main objective and desire is for others to find Christ his love for Jesus is self evident. This is unless you can give me some new information about Dr Keller that I do not know of.
